These terms and conditions (referred to as "Terms") govern your use of the ZoFold app mobile application (referred to as the "Application"). The Application was developed by muhairihassan@gmail.com (referred to as the "Service Provider") and is offered as a free service. By downloading, accessing, or using the Application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using the Application.
2. Intellectual Property Rights
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Application, including but not limited to its code, design, structure, and trademarks, are the sole property of the Service Provider. The following actions are strictly prohibited without explicit written consent:
- Copying, modifying, or distributing any part of the Application
- Attempting to extract, reverse engineer, or derive the source code
- Translating the Application into other languages
- Creating derivative versions or adaptations based on the Application
3. Modifications and Pricing
The Service Provider is committed to providing a useful and efficient experience. However, they reserve the right to modify, update, or enhance the Application at any time. This may include introducing new features, removing existing ones, or adjusting the functionality. Should the Service Provider decide to introduce charges for certain features or the entire Application, you will be clearly notified in advance. Any pricing changes will be communicated transparently before they take effect.
4. Data Processing and Device Security
The Application collects and processes personal information that you voluntarily provide to deliver its core functionality. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your mobile device and controlling access to the Application. The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking or rooting your device. These practices involve removing software restrictions imposed by the official operating system and can:
- Expose your device to malware, viruses, and other security threats
- Compromise built-in security features
- Cause the Application to malfunction or become completely inoperable
5. Third-Party Services
The Application integrates with third-party services that operate under their own terms and conditions. The Service Provider encourages you to review the terms of these services. Below are links to the Terms and Conditions of the third-party providers currently used:
- Google Play Services
- Google Analytics for Firebase
- Firebase Crashlytics
- Facebook
6. Internet Connection Requirements
Certain features of the Application require an active internet connection, whether through Wi-Fi or your mobile network provider. The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if the Application fails to function properly due to:
- Lack of available Wi-Fi access
- Insufficient mobile data allowance
- Network outages or connectivity issues beyond their control
If you are using the Application outside a Wi-Fi zone, standard data charges from your mobile network provider may apply. This includes potential roaming fees if you access the Application while traveling outside your home country without disabling data roaming. By using the Application, you assume full responsibility for any such charges. If you are not the account holder for the mobile device, you confirm that you have obtained permission from the bill payer to use the Application.
7. Device Responsibility
You are responsible for ensuring that your device remains operational. The Service Provider cannot be held liable if your device runs out of battery, is lost, stolen, or becomes otherwise unavailable, preventing you from accessing the Application or its features.
8. Limitation of Liability
While the Service Provider strives to keep the Application accurate, up-to-date, and fully functional, they rely on third-party services to provide certain information. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service Provider shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from:
- Your use or inability to use the Application
- Reliance on information provided through the Application
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
- Any other matter related to the Application
9. Application Updates and Termination
From time to time, the Service Provider may release updates to improve performance, add features, or ensure compatibility with the latest operating system versions. You agree to accept these updates when offered. The Service Provider does not guarantee that the Application will always be compatible with your specific device or operating system version.
The Service Provider reserves the right to discontinue providing the Application at any time without prior notice. In the event of termination:
- All rights and licenses granted to you under these Terms will immediately cease
- You must stop using the Application and remove it from your device
